Koi live well with other koi! They also get along with goldfish.
Koi have the ability to recognize who feeds them. They can even be trained to eat out of their owner's hand!
Besides koi food, they will eat a variety of organic matter, including pond plants, vegetables, and even breakfast cereals. They even love watermelon! Need food for your koi? We've got it!
Most domestic koi grow to be 12-15 inches long. Some Japanese varieties will grow to be over 20 inches. They typically grow about 5 inches per year, before reaching maturity.
