How long will Koi live?

Koi can live to be hundreds of years old, although most live 30-40 years when properly taken care of. In Japanese culture, Koi are prized and passed down many generations.

Can Koi live with other fish?

Koi live well with other koi! They also get along with goldfish.

How smart are Koi?

Koi have the ability to recognize who feeds them. They can even be trained to eat out of their owner's  hand!

What do Koi eat?

Besides koi food, they will eat a variety of organic matter, including pond plants, vegetables, and even breakfast cereals. They even love watermelon! Need food for your koi? We've got it! 

How big can Koi grow?

Most domestic koi grow to be 12-15 inches long. Some Japanese varieties will grow to be over 20 inches. They typically grow about 5 inches per year, before reaching maturity.
